What is click vinyl and how is it installed?

Click vinyl, also called SPC, is an elastic floor covering that is easy to lay thanks to an innovative click system . The plank consists of an SPC carrier that gives the whole thing a hold and attaches to the next plank. A decorative vinyl layer is printed over the plank so that the transparent vinyl wear layer adheres and gives the floor covering the right structure . To protect against scratches, dents or holes on the bottom, a UV coating that is durable and transparent is applied to the top. In some cases, most click vinyl floors have integrated footfall sound insulation to dampen the acoustics on the floor and to increase the noise in the room. Thanks to the click system, all individual planks can be laid very easily and is the solution for do-it-yourselfers.

What is stick-on vinyl and how is it installed?

Adhesive vinyl, also known as LVT, is a classic installation method. This means that adhesive vinyl is first laid over the entire surface in the wet bed meant. Just like the professional publishers have been doing for decades. But the classic way of gluing vinyl flooring is also ideal for dedicated hobby floor layers. The plank consists of an LVT vinyl carrier and stabilizes the support of the decorative layer with the matching wear layer. On the surface is a transparent UV coating that reflects the look of the floor and protects it. Since the repair is so quick and inexpensive, all the individual planks can be interchanged.
